New Science Building Opens at CLC

The much anticipated new science building at the College of Lake County opened for classes this week. Thanks to the advocacy of State Representative Nick Sauer, the state of the art facility was approved for $17.5 million in project funding by the Illinois Capital Development Board.

From the Daily Herald: "What they will find is a modern, energy-efficient building that's a big step up from the old digs.

"The difference will be clear to all who wander by the first floor of the building and peek inside the large mechatronics lab that combines electrical and mechanical engineering." - Read the story in the Daily Herald, Click Here.
